Essential Ingredients
- 🧈 100g fermented butter
- 🧂 95g sugar
- 🥚 90g eggs
- 90g cake flour
- 2g baking powder
- 2g Earl Grey tea
Apple Compote
- 🍎 1 apple
- 🧂 15g sugar
- 🧈 5g butter
- 🍋 10g lemon juice
- A pinch of cinnamon powder
步驟
Quarter the apple, remove seeds, and dice into 1cm cubes.
In a pot, combine diced apple, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir while simmering until softened, then cool. Add cinnamon powder to taste.
Cream softened butter and sugar using a hand mixer.
Gradually add beaten eggs in 2–3 batches, mixing thoroughly each time.
Sift dry ingredients and fold into the mixture using a spatula.
Add Earl Grey tea and apple compote, mixing gently.
Pour batter into a mold and bake at 170°C for 30–40 minutes. Check doneness by inserting a skewer; if it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
