- 🦪 6 scallops (sashimi-grade)
Vegetables
- 🥑 1/2 avocado
Flour
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 100g tempura flour
Liquid
- 💧 150cc water
Oil
- Sufficient salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- Yuzu pepper to taste
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
步驟
Slice the avocado into 6 equal horizontal pieces. Make a horizontal cut in each scallop halfway through.
Place one slice of avocado into the cut of each scallop and secure with a toothpick. Repeat for all 6 scallops and coat them with potato starch.
Mix tempura flour and water in a bowl to create the batter. Dip the prepared scallops into the batter.
Heat salad oil to 170°C in a pot, ensuring it is about 2cm deep. Fry the battered scallops until crispy. Serve hot with yuzu pepper or a pinch of salt.
