- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- 💧 200ml water

Remove seeds and pulp from the pumpkin, then cut it into bite-sized pieces (2–3 cm). Trim off any tough skin if necessary.

Place the pumpkin and all seasoning ingredients into a pot. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then cover and simmer on low heat for 6–8 minutes until the pumpkin is tender.
