- 🥩 400g Angus beef shoulder steak
Vegetables
- 🌱 4 asparagus spears
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
- 1/2 red paprika, diced
- 🧄 2 cloves garlic, sliced
Grains
- 🍚 2 cups washed rice
Seasonings
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 1/2 tbsp curry powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- 🧂 1 tsp salt
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- Water as needed
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍯 2 tbsp honey
步驟
Slice garlic, prepare asparagus by peeling and cutting into thin slices, mince onion, and dice red paprika.
Add rice and seasonings (marked ☆) to the rice cooker with water slightly below the 2-cup mark. Mix and add minced onion, then cook as usual.
Season beef with salt and pepper.
Heat salad oil and sliced garlic in a pan over medium heat. Remove garlic once browned, then sear beef on both sides until browned.
Wrap cooked beef in aluminum foil and let rest for 15 minutes.
Prepare sauce by wiping excess oil from the pan and adding sake, soy sauce, and honey. Heat until slightly thickened.
Mix cooked rice with asparagus and red paprika, then keep warm for 5 minutes.
Slice beef into bite-sized pieces.
Plate curry pilaf, beef slices, and garlic, then drizzle with sauce.
