Main Ingredients
- 🍗 1 whole chicken (900g-1kg)
- Flat noodles, adequate amount
- 🍠 2 small sweet potatoes
- 🥕 1/3 carrot
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- Red chili, adequate amount
- 💧 4-5 cups water
Sauce Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tbsp corn syrup
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
步驟
Clean the chicken thoroughly. Optionally, blanch the chicken and remove the skin before use.
Mix all sauce ingredients well to prepare the marinade. Soak flat noodles in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
Cut sweet potatoes, carrots, and onions into bite-sized pieces. Round off the edges to prevent breaking during cooking.
Add 4 cups of water and the sauce mixture to a pot. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add sweet potatoes, carrots, and soaked noodles to the pot. Cook over high heat for 5 minutes, then simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes.
Add onions and cook over high heat for 3 minutes.
Optionally, add green chili peppers for extra spiciness.
