Cut broccoli into small florets and peel the stem. Slice garlic and remove its core.

Place broccoli and 1 tbsp water in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes. Drain and let cool.

Heat olive oil, garlic, and chili in a pan over low heat until fragrant. Add broccoli and stir-fry over medium heat for 1–2 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and add shirasu. Stir to combine.
