    • 2 tsp soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic

Peel the bottom third of the asparagus with a peeler and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the nagaimo, cut it in half lengthwise, and slice into 1cm thick pieces.

Scrub the clams by rubbing the shells together under water and drain well.

Heat sesame oil and grated garlic in a frying pan. Add clams, asparagus, and nagaimo, then stir-fry briefly. Add sake, cover with a lid, and steam over medium heat for 2–3 minutes.

Once the clams open, add soy sauce and stir-fry briefly.
