- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
- 🍋 2 wedges of lemon
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp Chinese soup base (e.g., Wei-Pa)

Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces.

Mix the seasoning ingredients in a bowl and add the chicken pieces. Massage the mixture into the chicken and let it marinate for 15 minutes.

Add the flour and potato starch to the marinated chicken and mix well.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 170°C (340°F) and fry the chicken pieces for 4–5 minutes until cooked through.
