Rice
- 🍚 2 cups washed rice
- 1 piece mochi, diced
Seafood
- 🐚 100g shelled clams
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, sliced
- 1 piece ginger, julienned
Liquids
- 💧 Water as needed
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake for preparation
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock powder
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil

Sprinkle clams with 1 tbsp sake for preparation, let sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry.

Dice the mochi into 1cm cubes.

Slice the green onion and julienne the ginger.

Add washed rice, seasonings (☆), and water to the rice cooker up to the 2-cup mark.

Layer diced mochi, clams, green onion, and ginger on top of the rice mixture. Cook using the regular rice setting.

Lightly mix the cooked rice and serve in bowls.
