Fish
- 🐟 200g cod fillets
Vegetables
- 🥬 1 bok choy, 100g
- 🧅 1/2 onion, 100g
- 🥕 50g carrot, julienned
Oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Coating
- Cornstarch, as needed
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 150ml water
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
- Pinch of pepper
Thickening
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 💧 2 tsp water
步驟
Cut bok choy into 4cm pieces, separating stems and leaves. Thinly slice onion and julienne carrot.
Cut cod into thirds and coat with cornstarch.
Heat 1/2 tbsp sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook cod skin-side down for 1 minute, flip, and cook until golden for 1-2 minutes. Remove from pan.
Wipe pan clean, add 1 tsp sesame oil, and sauté onion, carrot, and bok choy stems over medium-low heat for 1-2 minutes until softened.
Add seasoning ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 3 minutes. Add bok choy leaves and stir.
Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the pan. Stir until thickened. Add cod back and simmer briefly.
