- 🦑 200g frozen sliced squid

- 🧅 1 stalk green onion (165g)

- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 1/2 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut the green onion into diagonal slices about 1cm wide.

Place the frozen squid directly into a frying pan over medium heat. Add sake, cover with a lid, and steam on low heat for about 5 minutes until thawed. Remove the lid and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes to evaporate excess moisture.

Add salad oil and green onion to the pan. Stir-fry over medium heat until the onion softens. Add the ginger, mirin, and soy sauce, and stir until well combined.
