- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice (200g)
Seafood
- 🦑 150g squid tentacles
Seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Coating
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut squid tentacles into smaller pieces, trimming the tips slightly.

Mix squid tentacles with sake, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add potato starch and rub until coated.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry squid tentacles for 4–5 minutes until golden brown.

In a separate pot, simmer sake, mirin, and soy sauce over medium heat until bubbling to create the sauce.
