Dry Ingredients
- 250g cake flour
- 🍬 40g sugar
- 🧂 2g salt
- 5g baking powder
Wet Ingredients
- 🧈 50g cold unsalted butter
- 🥚 40g egg
- 🥛 90g milk
Flavor Additions
- 🧅 100g green onion
- 🧀 60g sliced cheese
步驟
Wash the green onions thoroughly, remove excess water, and slice thinly.
Cut the sliced cheese into small pieces and keep refrigerated until use.
Dry-fry the sliced green onions in a pan until softened. Do not use oil.
Spread the fried green onions on a plate to cool.
Sift the cake flour and baking powder into a bowl. Add sugar and salt, then mix well with a whisk.
Add cold, diced butter (1cm cubes) to the dry ingredients.
Use a scraper to chop and mix the butter into the flour until the butter pieces are pea-sized.
Create a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour in the cold egg and milk mixture.
Mix gently with a spatula until the flour is slightly visible.
Add the cooled green onions and chopped cheese, then lightly combine.
Place the dough on plastic wrap and flatten to a 2cm thickness. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Cut the chilled dough into 6 equal portions.
Place the dough pieces on a baking tray and brush the tops with egg wash.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20–25 minutes.
