- 🍞 3 slices of bread
- 🥚 2 eggs
- 🥛 150ml milk
- 🧂 4 tbsp sugar
- 🧈 1-2 tbsp butter
- 🧂 1 pinch of salt
步驟
In a bowl, whisk eggs and add a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Add sugar and milk to the egg mixture and stir until combined.
Trim the edges of the bread slices as thinly as possible.
Place the trimmed bread slices into a container.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread and refrigerate for at least 8 hours to allow the bread to absorb the mixture fully.
Heat a pan over very low heat and melt the butter.
Place the soaked bread slices into the pan.
Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 10 minutes on very low heat.
Flip the bread and cook for another 10 minutes on very low heat.
Once cooked, transfer the bread to a plate and serve.
