Separate the turnip into white parts and stems, cut into bite-sized pieces. Slice the leaves into 3cm widths.

In a pot, combine turnip, scallops, sake, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer on medium heat for 5 minutes until the turnip softens.

Add the seasonings (salt, pepper, chicken stock) and simmer on medium heat for 3 minutes.
