    • 400g ground meat
    • 🥚 1 egg
    • 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
    • 2 tbsp flour
  • Vegetables

    • 🧅 1 onion
    • 🥕 1 carrot (150g)
    • 🌽 2 tbsp canned corn
  • Seasoning

    • 500cc water
    • 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Sauce

    • 290g canned demi-glace sauce
    • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 🍅 2 tbsp ketchup

In a bowl, mix ground meat with egg, salt, and flour until sticky. Add canned corn and mix. Divide into 12 portions and shape into meatballs.

Cut the onion into 1cm slices and chop the carrot into bite-sized pieces.

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, then push them to the side.

Add onion and carrot to the empty space in the pan. Stir until coated with oil. Add water and bring to a boil. Skim off any foam, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Add demi-glace sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Stir and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes until meat is cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.

Serve the meatballs and sauce over rice.
