Main
- 🍚 400g cooked rice
- 🐖 200g pork belly block
- 1 slice ginger
- 🥚 2 egg yolks
- sufficient kaiware sprouts
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
步驟
Cut the pork belly into bite-sized pieces.
Place pork and ginger in a microwave-safe container, add enough water to cover the pork, loosely cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes. Rinse under running water and drain.
In a separate microwave-safe container, mix the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce). Add the pork, coat well, and let it marinate for 10 minutes. Loosely cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Flip the pork, cover again, and microwave for another 3 minutes. Let it cool with the wrap on.
Serve rice in bowls, top with the simmered pork, kaiware sprouts, and egg yolks. Drizzle the remaining sauce over the top.
