- 1 bunch nira (Chinese chives)
Seafood
- 2 tbsp shirasu (whitebait)
Seaweed
- 1/4 sheet roasted nori
Condiments
- 2 tsp mentsuyu (3x concentrated)
- 1/3 tsp sesame oil

Cut the nira into bite-sized pieces. Place them in a microwave-safe container, sprinkle with 1 tbsp of water, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Drain the water.

In a bowl, combine the cooked nira, shirasu, and mentsuyu.

Tear the nori into small pieces by hand and add it to the bowl. Mix in the sesame oil and combine well.
