Rice
- 🍚 2 cups soaked rice
Seafood
- 🐙 200g fresh octopus
Vegetables
- 1 piece of ginger, julienned
Liquids
- 💧 Water as needed
Seasonings
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
步驟
Julienne the ginger.
Rub the fresh octopus with 1 tbsp of salt to remove slime, then rinse thoroughly with water. Cut into 2cm pieces.
In a rice cooker, combine soaked rice, seasonings (sake, mirin, salt, soy sauce), and water up to the 2-cup mark. Mix well and level the rice. Place the octopus and ginger on top, then cook as usual.
Once cooked, gently mix the rice to combine flavors.
