- 2 chikuwa
- 4 green peppers
- 3 tbsp tempura flakes
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Miso Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp miso
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp white sesame seeds

Cut off the stems of the green peppers, slice them in half lengthwise, remove seeds and pith, and julienne them.

Slice the chikuwa into 5mm thick rings.

Mix all the miso sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat, add the green peppers and chikuwa, and stir-fry until softened. Add the miso sauce and stir until well combined. Finally, add tempura flakes and stir briefly.
