Protein
- 🍗 1 piece (300g) chicken thigh
Vegetables
- 🥔 1 potato (100g), peeled and diced
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
Condiments
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 🧈 1 tbsp mayonnaise
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🥢 1 tbsp soy sauce
步驟
Peel and dice the potato into 2cm cubes. Soak in water, then drain.
Place the potato in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes until soft. Mash while hot and mix with salt and mayonnaise to create mashed potatoes.
Pierce the chicken skin with a fork several times. Flip and make shallow cuts on the underside. Place mashed potatoes in the center, roll the chicken around it, and secure with toothpicks.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) in a microwave-safe container. Add the chicken, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 8 minutes. Let cool slightly with the wrap still on, turning occasionally to coat with sauce.
Slice the chicken into bite-sized pieces, plate, garnish with green onion, and drizzle remaining sauce from the container.
