Cut the potatoes into wedges with the skin on. Soak in water for 5 minutes, then drain. Microwave in a heatproof container covered with plastic wrap for 5–6 minutes at 600W.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan and fry the potatoes over medium heat until golden brown.

Mix dried seaweed, consomme powder, and salt in a large bowl.
