- 150g pork slices
Vegetables
- 100g lotus root
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Pinch of pepper
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp potato starch

Place the lotus root in a plastic bag and crush it with a rolling pin.

Add pork and seasonings (marked ☆) to the bag, massage well, let sit for 5 minutes, and form into bite-sized pieces.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan to about 1cm depth, add the formed pieces, and fry until golden brown for 3–5 minutes.
