Boil water in a large pot and add 1 tbsp salt. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.

Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

Add the canned saba (including the water) to the pan and break it into smaller pieces. Stir gently.

Drain the pasta and broccoli, reserving some pasta water. Add the pasta and broccoli to the pan with the saba mixture.

Season with 1 tsp soy sauce and toss everything together. Plate and garnish with sudachi slices or juice.
