- 🐟 2 fillets mackerel
Spices
- 1 piece ginger, thinly sliced
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
Seasonings
- 💧 100 ml water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
步驟
Make shallow cuts on the skin of the mackerel fillets, sprinkle both sides with salt, and let sit for 10 minutes. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Thinly slice the ginger.
In a frying pan, combine the ginger and all seasoning ingredients (water, sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce) and bring to a boil.
Place the mackerel fillets skin-side up into the pan. Spoon the simmering sauce over the fish, cover with a lid, and cook until the sauce reduces. Serve with the remaining sauce drizzled on top.
