    • 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
  • Beef

    • 🥩 150g thinly sliced beef
  • Vegetables

    • 🥒 1 cucumber (100g)
    • 🥬 100g kimchi
  • Seaweed

    • 2 sheets roasted seaweed
  • Seasoning

    • 🌰 Sesame seeds, as needed
    • 2 tbsp BBQ sauce
    • 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
    • 1 tsp sesame oil
    • 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
    • 🧂 A pinch of salt

Rub cucumber with salt, rinse, and dry. Cut into wedges. Chop kimchi and squeeze out excess liquid.

Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add beef and garlic, stir-fry until beef changes color. Add BBQ sauce and cook until combined. Let cool.

Mix cooked rice with sesame oil and salt in a bowl. Let cool.

Place a sheet of seaweed on a bamboo mat lined with plastic wrap. Spread half the rice evenly, leaving 2cm at the top. Add half the beef, cucumber, and kimchi. Roll tightly and shape. Repeat for the second roll.

Let the rolls rest wrapped in plastic for 15 minutes to set.

Unwrap and slice into 1.5cm pieces. Serve with sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
