- 4 chikuwa sticks
- 3 tbsp tempura flour
- 💧 3 tbsp water
- sufficient salad oil for frying
☆ Tuna Curry Filling
- 🐟 70g canned tuna in oil
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 🍅 1 tsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Mince the onion and make a slit in each chikuwa stick.

Drain the tuna and mix all ☆ ingredients in a plastic bag.

Cut the tip of the plastic bag and pipe the ☆ mixture into the slit of each chikuwa.

Mix tempura flour and water in a bowl, then coat each chikuwa with the batter.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan to about 1cm depth and fry the chikuwa on medium heat for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
