Wash the rice and place it in a rice cooker with water adjusted for 2 cups. Let it soak for at least 30 minutes, then cook as usual.

Rehydrate the dried wakame in water for 5–10 minutes, then squeeze out excess water and roughly chop.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Stir-fry the wakame for 2–3 minutes, then mix in soy sauce and sesame seeds. Combine with the cooked rice.
