- 🍚 1 cup soaked rice
Canned Fish
- 95g canned mackerel in miso
Vegetables
- 1 piece sliced ginger
- 🧅 Chopped green onion, as needed
- Chopped seaweed, as needed
Liquid
- 💧 Water, as needed
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp yuzu pepper

Slice the ginger thinly. Separate the mackerel meat and its canned juice.

In a rice cooker, add soaked rice, canned juice, seasonings, and water up to the 1-cup mark. Mix well and flatten the rice. Place mackerel and ginger on top, then cook as usual.

Once cooked, mix everything together. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped green onion and seaweed.
